Blackened Garlic Green Beans
12 ounces green beans, ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces (about 4 C)
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add green beans to the skillet and sprinkle the spices over the beans.
3. Saute for 10-12 minutes, until green beans begin to blacken.
4. Serve hot.
