This tastes like a peanut butter cookie – and it’s good for you!
I love making my oatmeal this way – it’s not mushy at all. Its texture is more like a soft, chewy cookie.
Time: 3 minutes
1/3 C quick oats
1-2 tsp brown sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
2-3 Tbsp milk (use almond milk for vegan)
1 Tbsp peanut butter
2 Tbsp peanuts (or whatever nuts you have in the house)
- Combine oats, brown sugar and milk in a small bowl.
- Add the peanut butter on top of the oats. You don’t need to mix it in.
- Cook on high in the microwave for one minute.
- Stir until the peanut butter is well incorporated.
- Top with the peanuts.
- Eat immediately.
