100% Whole Wheat Waffles

These tasty, nutritious waffles are a great way to start your day!

Makes: 12 waffles
Time: 20 minutes

1 1/2 C whole wheat flour
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 3/4 C milk
1/2 C vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
  1. Preheat your waffle iron and prepare with cooking spray.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla.  Mix until well combined.
  4. Cook waffle batter in batches, for about 3-4 minutes each.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
