Simple Parmesan Pasta

This easy pasta has only 4 ingredients and makes a great side dish for dinner.  It’s tasty, healthy and ready in 15 minutes!
My kids love this pasta.  I usually serve it with salmon or grilled chicken.
Servings: 8
Time: 15 minutes
1 lb whole wheat pasta
1/4 C butter
1/2 C grated parmesan
1/2 C green onions, chopped
  1. Cook pasta in a large pot according to the directions on the package.  Drain and return pasta to the pot.
  2. Add butter to the pasta.  Cover the pasta to keep it warm and wait a few minutes for the butter to melt.
  3. Add parmesan cheese and green onions to the pasta.  Toss to combine.
  4. Serve warm.
